Sounding similar to a certain English profanity...
Believe it or not the word 'FOC' means 'FIRE' in Catalan, the language spoken in Barcelona’s region, North East of Spain.
FOC Restaurant at HongKong Street brought the Barcelona spirit to Singapore and it begun the FOC “fire” vibrant Spanish affair in the heart of South East Asia. FOC Restaurant at HongKong Street is a young, yet dynamic brand that does not take itself too seriously. A fruit of collaboration of Michelin Starred Chef Nandu Jubany (Can Jubany), Chef Jordi Noguera and an awarded mixologist Dario Knox.
FOC Restaurant at HongKong Street is a buzzy, interactive dining experience located in a refurbished shop house and designed by famed multi-disciplinary, Barcelonan studio lagranja design. Upon entering the restaurant, guests will be greeted by the sights and sounds of a busy open kitchen where chefs and mixologists work side-by-side. Banquette seats line the restaurant, with a prized 14-seat bar counter lit with custom-made lamps constructed from pepper grinders. The fun and quirky main dining room is the perfect place for large group meals, post-work drinks and even solo diners.
Situated at the further end of FOC Restaurant is a quieter section with double-height ceilings, a large skylight and three communal tables that seat up to eight diners per table. The warm and intimate space is the ideal setting for business lunches and dinners while also providing a midday escape for the corporate crowd. Private dining area is also available upon request.
The most important thing here is to enjoy and unwind, with a good portion of Barcelona-like tapas and great drink in hand. FOC is a meeting spot for friends and colleagues to have some fun after work and enjoy each other’s company.
